What are factions servers?

On factions servers players form teams that claim land and build protected bases. Factions raid each other, form alliances and compete on leaderboards throughout the season.

In KitPvP you get a ready-made set of gear (a kit) and fight in an arena right away. There is no resource gathering; only combat skill matters, and kills earn coins for better kits.

BoxPvP mixes mining and fighting on a small map. Players mine resources in zones, upgrade their gear and fight each other immediately, so the pace is fast and centered on PvP.

Which Minecraft version is best for PvP?

Many PvP servers use 1.8 combat without the attack cooldown. Newer servers use 1.9+ combat with shields and slower, timed hits. The version of every server is shown on its page.
